We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who came out and supported us Saturday night on November 4th! The church was packed with 200 people tasting over 20 chili and mac & cheese entries. Our generous sponsors helped make the night even more special. A big thank you to the Horse and the Hound for the side dishes, North East Preferred Contracting & Management for the beer, Cross River Wine Merchant for the wine, and Sprout Creek Bakery for the corn bread and dessert. Our judges worked hard doing their blind taste test to determine their favorites; we’d be lost without them! And lastly, we would like to thank the entire church family who worked tirelessly to help set up and clean up for the event. We are proud to announce that we raised over $3,200 to benefit South Salem Presbyterian Church and the Alzheimer’s Association of the Hudson Valley. Can’t wait to see you all next year!

The Midnight Run is an ideal way for our teenagers and all of us who have so much, to help those who have nothing. In conjunction with the other local religious organizations, we make sandwiches, collect clothing and deliver them to the street people in New York City. Our Confirmation class and all who have made the run have found it a transforming experience.
If you would like to make a contribution to the Midnight Run project, please mark your check for Midnight Run Supplies and drop in the offering plate on Sunday, or mail or drop it off to the church office.read more
