My Name is Onesimus
MANY YEARS AGO IN THE CITY OF COLASSAE THERE LIVED A YOUNG MAN WHO SAW HIS VISIONS AND DREAMED EVEN AS WE DO. BUT FELT HELD BACK FROM LIFE BECAUSE HE WORE A CHAIN. TRADITION SAYS THAT HE HAS BEEN SOLD INTO SLAVERY FOR A DEBT. HE HAD TO STAND ON THE SIDELINES OF LIFE AS A SLAVE. HE WAS NOT ABLE TO TAKE PART IN LIFE AS HE HAD DREAMED. FINALLY, HE BECAME SO DEPRESSED OVER HIS CIRCUMSTANCES THAT HE DECIDES TO MAKE A BREAK FOR LIBERTY. YOU WILL MEET ONESIMUS THIS WEEK.
